DESCRIPTION:
the jaguar 1A3 is a lightly armoured anti-tank vehicle, built on the jagdpanzer kanone.
its primary purpose is fighting tanks, but its also capable of
delivering a nasty sting against infantry with its 2 7.62mm machine guns.
its a really beatiful design, allowing the whole vehicle to be in cover, with only the missile and
sight sticking above the crest/berm/hill.
but being such a specialized design, it doesn't really have any place in the unconventional wars
being fought currently, and is useless in urban city fighting.
its arena is in the wide open plains, and is the perfect defense weapon, to wear down
oncoming enemy tanks, in conventional frontline warfare.

The "raketenjagdpanzer" jaguar 1 is protected by 50mm of armour, which is enough to stop 14.5mm bullets.
its extremely vulnerable to medium caliber munitions, and tank rounds, but
its low profile, and unique missile and sight placement, makes it hard to hit when deployed
correctly, and almost impossible to kill.
additionally, the speed of its HOT ATGM's, and fast autoloader, gives it a high rate of fire,
which can lay waste to assaulting opposing armour, before retreating to a new battle position.
Autoloader:
the autoloader is extremely fast, it takes a mere 3-4 seconds to reload a missile.
the missiles are stored vertically, in a revolver-type magazine, which rotates
into position after a new round hcas been loaded.
after the missile has been fired, the empty tube is discarded,
and a new missile is loaded from the autoloader.
here's a small video clip showing the autoloader deploying the missile.
reload clip
after the missile is deployed, it moves with the gunners sight.
when all the missiles has been expended, the crew reloads the revolver under armour,
through a door on the side of the autoloader complex.
Crew positions:
Commander:
the commander sits behind the gunner and bow gunner,
and has 8 vision ports, along with a periscope.
he also has an pintle mounted MG-3 on a skate mount,
which can be used against closing infantry.
gunner:
the gunner sits in the middle of the crew compartment and has a day/night sight in front of him.
with it, he guides the missiles onto the targets.
the sight has 3 vision modes.
Bow gunner:
sits to the right of the driver, operates the radio and fires the bow machine gun.
